I'm ranking the five most amazing Super Saiyan 3 transformations in all of Dragon Ball. The list runs from Gotenks in Dragon Ball Z to Adult Vegeta in Dragon Ball Daima, and my number one is Fusion Reborn.
5. Gotenks surprised everyone with Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Z
Number five is Gotenks in Dragon Ball Z. It was only the second time we'd ever seen Super Saiyan 3 in the series. It was a shocker that the kids were able to do this once they fused together.
Who could forget the face Piccolo made when he saw it?
4. Adult Vegeta's Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Daima episode 19 was a long time coming
Number four is Adult Vegeta's fight against the villain in Dragon Ball Daima episode 19. Everything about this was awesome: the effects, the animation and the music.
It was a long time coming for Vegeta fans.
3. Dragon Ball Super: Beerus episode two fixed Goku's Super Saiyan 3
Number three comes from episode two of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. It washed away the disgusting version from episode five of the 2015 Dragon Ball Super, and this is the way it should have been from the beginning.
Goku's power up shook the heavens and destroyed sections of Snake Way. "Super Saiyan 3 has not looked this scary in a long time."
2. Goku's first Super Saiyan 3 against Majin Buu is my favorite English dub scene
Number two is the first time Goku did it in Dragon Ball Z. Who could forget the confrontation between Goku and Majin Buu above West City when he first debuted Super Saiyan 3?
No matter what language you experience it in, it's a killer scene. It's also my favorite English dub scene of all time, thanks to the incredible music from the English dub score.
1. Fusion Reborn's Super Saiyan 3 scene is Dragon Ball anime bliss
Number one is Fusion Reborn. This scene is amazing, and just like the last one, it's tremendous no matter what language you hear it in.
Nozawa, Sean Schemmel and Mario Castañeda all nailed it, and so did the animation, the effects and the music. "It's Dragon Ball anime bliss."
