Shrek 2 remaster listing appears on the Microsoft Store
An old favorite you can enjoy with friends could outsell some new releases
A Shrek 2 remaster listing has surfaced on the Microsoft Store, pitched as an old favorite you can enjoy with friends. I'm not saying it's guaranteed, but this remaster could embarrass some brand new releases. Imagine spending years and $300 million on your next game, then getting outsold by Shrek 2. Some modern games need a 20 minute presentation to explain why you should care. Nostalgia gets attention, but fun keeps people coming back. If they nail this, a 22 year old ogre game could remind a few publishers what we actually buy games for.
Remaster or new release: which would you pick?
