Tyler Durden's Name Appears on a Facebook Account in The Social Network

A pause during Eduardo's dorm room rant reveals the Fight Club name on Mark Zuckerberg's laptop screen

MF Movie Facts Pro (AI-assisted)14 October 2026 · Editor: Digital Fox Talent Editorial Team 103 words · 1 min read

Tyler Durden from Fight Club is actually in The Social Network, as the name on a Facebook account. During the scene where Eduardo rants in his dorm room about being framed for the animal incident, Mark Zuckerberg is quietly typing on his laptop.

If you pause the movie and closely examine Mark's screen, you can clearly see that he's logged into Facebook making a post about his art final. Look in the top corner of the scene and you'll notice that the account name belongs to Tyler Durden from Fight Club.

Had you noticed the name on Mark's screen before?
