Ocarina of Time Remake Trailer Gives First Look at Dark Link Fight
Nintendo's new boss focused trailer shows Dark Link, Ganondorf and more in the remake
Nintendo just released a brand new trailer for the Ocarina of Time remake, and it gives us our first look at Dark Link. The trailer is all about the bosses and the toughest fights in the game, and the Dark Link fight in the Water Temple is the thing that everyone is talking about.
Dark Link looks more intimidating, but I'm not fully sold yet
Dark Link really didn't need to show off on Link the way he does here. It's such an iconic fight. I will say he looks way more intimidating than he ever did on Nintendo 64, but it looks really different. I'm not fully sold on it, but it looks really solid so far.
The boss fights might be the remake's biggest glow up
The trailer also gives new looks at a bunch of bosses, including King Dodongo, Morpha, Bongo Bongo and Ganondorf. In my opinion, the boss fights might be the biggest glow up in this entire remake.
The trailer opens with Ganondorf playing his pipe organ, and later we see him powering up with the Triforce of Power. He's voiced by an actor I'd call a legend. This really might be the most menacing Ganondorf has ever looked, and "that final fight should be pretty insane."
Early impressions call it familiar but refreshingly new
The people who have already gotten their hands on the game say it feels so familiar but also refreshingly new. Other outlets are praising the music arrangements, which honestly makes sense after hearing how good this trailer sounds.
What do you make of how the Dark Link fight looks in the Ocarina of Time remake?
