A Mace Windu Series Pitch That Ends With His Real Death

Mace Windu should come back, but only if Star Wars is willing to completely break him. My idea is to set it one year after Revenge of the Sith. Mace survived the fall, but he's burned, missing a hand, and hiding beneath Coruscant while Boba Fett hunts him for killing Jango.

Then Mace discovers Anakin is alive and becomes obsessed with killing Darth Vader. But when revenge forces him to choose between going after Vader and saving a Force-sensitive child, Mace finally understands what being a Jedi actually means. He saves the kid, sacrifices himself, and dies for real.

I'd want this as a limited series, six episodes, one complete story.
