Who Is Iron Man 2020? Arno Stark and His Armor Explained
Tony Stark's future first cousin wears a suit with cloaking technology and no need for a cybernetic link.
Iron Man 2020, also known as Arno Stark, is a pretty interesting version of the Iron Man character, to say the least. He first appeared in the second issue of the Machine Man limited series and was created by Tom DeFalco. Arno is Tony Stark's future first cousin.
How Iron Man 2020's armor works
His highly sophisticated armor looks similar to the classic Iron Man armors, except for the faceplate and the shoulders. Weapons are fitted in the gauntlets, along with a chest beam and shoulder packs. The user no longer needs a cybernetic link to the helmet to control the armor.
The helmet can also be hidden through cloaking technology, which was presumably developed from the chameleon mode of the Silver Centurion armor.
