Who Is Karen Page in Daredevil: Born Again? Her Comic Origins Explained
The character's history stretches back decades, including a death that stuck
Karen Page first appeared in the comics in April 1964, and she stuck around for a few decades before meeting her end in 1999. She is one of the few comic characters who has not come back since dying, and I think they kind of fridged her a little bit.
In her original story, Karen was a smart girl raised in Vermont. After graduating from university she worked as a secretary for Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock, the two lawyers who ran a law firm in Manhattan, quickly earning the favor of both men because they definitely fancied her.
Her first run in with a comic villain came against Purple Man, also known as Zebediah Kilgrave, who to me is one of the scariest Marvel villains personally. I would like him back as soon as possible.
