Stranger Things prequel Other Worlds is set in 1955 Nevada, and Conformity Gate is fake
A short teaser points to a new cast, a bike that may be Henry Creel's and a supernatural force, and the show will most likely lead into the Broadway story
Stranger Things fans are going insane because Conformity Gate is fake, but a new Stranger Things prequel show was just announced. Everyone wanted Conformity Gate. What we got is something I feel like is better: a prequel series set in 1955.
The new show expands the world of Stranger Things (2016), the series starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown. It will most likely be the prequel to the Broadway show. The teaser is very short, so we only get a few details for now.
The prequel could follow a young Henry Creel in 1955 Nevada
If you haven't seen the Broadway show, I won't spoil it. It follows Henry Creel's life when he was younger and builds on what we didn't get to see in the main series.
I'm excited for this because I feel like this is going to have some Area 51 vibes. The story takes place in Nevada, before the events of Hawkins, Indiana. I could easily see the show doing awesome because of the UFO paranoia that was going on at that time.
The Other Worlds teaser shows a bike and exploding clouds
The show will feature an entirely new cast. Obviously, there will be no returning cast members.
In the teaser, we see a bike, which we can assume may be Henry Creel's. The clouds also explode, showing that there is some supernatural force at work. So, unfortunately, Conformity Gate did not happen. But a Stranger Things prequel is something I know I'll be excited for.
