Agatha All Along Episodes 4 to 6: The Billy Maximoff Twist Upended My Theory About Agatha's Son

Our date night run through episodes 4, 5 and 6 left me stunned by the reveal, missing the witches we lost, and asking where the Green Witch went

Our date night with Agatha All Along moved on to episodes 4, 5 and 6 of season 1, and the biggest takeaway is that I had it wrong. The whole time I believed Teen was Agatha's son, and the reveal that he is Billy Maximoff, Wanda's son, left me baffled.

Agatha All Along keeps punishing confident guesses

My verdict after these three episodes is simple: "This is really good. It's great storytelling. The music's fire." The twists and turns are really good, and I am enjoying the show because it plays like a puzzle. It is creepy too, enough to give me the heebie-jeebies at points.

The Billy reveal also taught me a lesson. I am irritated that I spent so long certain he was Agatha's son, and I think maybe I need to not be so confident with my thoughts, because the show seems ready to throw a loophole and a switcheroo at every corner. I love that it is still connected to WandaVision, and I want more of that.

The ballad trial solution felt clever to me

At the end of episode 4 I was pleased that I had figured out that the song and the fans acting as her coven explained what Alice's mother did, and that it was all to protect her daughter. I called it clever and a really good little creation.

That ending also left me with a theory. I still thought then that Teen was Agatha's son, but I started wondering whether it was the Green Witch's fault that Agatha had to choose the black book, and whether Agatha had to protect something. The deeper we got, the less I believed Agatha would have given up her son just for the book.

Losing Alice, Lilia and Jennifer hurt

I am upset that we took out our witches. I really liked Alice, and I hope somehow she can come back, though she seems gone like Mrs. Hart. I am also upset that we lost Jennifer and Lilia along the way. I feel like they have to come back somehow, and if Agatha could return, maybe they could too.

Where did Rio, the Green Witch, go?

Rio was not with the group when all of that went down, and I need to know where she took off to or where she is hiding. Something is off, and she knew Teen was not Agatha's son. I also wonder whether Agatha's son is going to come back, which would be interesting.

I am excited to get to the end of the road and find Billy's brother, and I think it is doable. There is so much to unravel here, and I want to keep going.

Do you think Lilia, Jennifer and Alice are truly gone, or will the road bring them back?
