Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs Thunderbolts: Why the Turtles Edge Out Bucky, US Agent and Ghost
Three super soldiers and an intangible assassin make it a fight, but bulletproof mutant turtles with a lifetime of training together take it in the end
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles edge out the Thunderbolts
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles beat the Thunderbolts, though Ghost is the one who keeps the fight close. To be clear, Sentry is not part of this matchup, because with him on the field the Turtles are dead in about four seconds. Instead, the Turtles are up against Bucky, US Agent, Red Guardian, Yelena and Ghost.
The Thunderbolts have more people and more guns, three super soldiers, and an intangible assassin in their lineup.
Bullets bounce off the Turtles
Still, you cannot forget just how powerful the Turtles are here, because shooting them is not going to work. We have literally seen bullets just bounce off them. On top of that, they have shown off equal, if not better, strength and durability than a super soldier. "Seriously, some of the stuff that they're doing is just absolutely insane."
Bucky, US Agent and Red Guardian can hang with the Turtles for a while
Bucky, Walker and Red Guardian definitely hang with them for a while. Bucky has fought Captain America and Iron Man. Walker is strong enough to tear apart Falcon's wings and to temporarily pull back an armored vehicle. Alexei might be out of shape, but he is another super soldier.
Still, they are fighting four giant mutant turtles who are somehow around 6 feet tall, weigh hundreds of pounds, and have been training together basically their entire lives. And while Leo, Raph and the others are swinging swords, sais and other weapons at them, that basically just leaves Ghost.
Ghost is the reason the fight can even be close
She is the reason the fight can even be close, because "none of the turtles have an answer for somebody who can just phase through their weapons." She can appear behind them, attack, disappear again, and potentially keep doing that until she finds an opening.
But eventually, Ghost has to become solid to land the hit. She can only avoid them for so long.
My verdict: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles win
"The Thunderbolts are great for street level heroes, but the turtles are just simply going to edge it out." My pick is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Could Ghost's phasing find enough openings to swing it for the Thunderbolts, or do the Turtles take this one?
