Jason Voorhees vs Nemesis: Why Nemesis Wins the Fight

Two monsters that refuse to die go head to head, and the ability to regenerate and mutate decides it

Jason Voorhees versus Nemesis, who wins? My answer is Nemesis. This is basically what happens when you put "two monsters that refuse to die in the same room and tell them to kill each other," and it's going to be a pretty hard fight either way.

Jason Voorhees is ridiculously hard to put down

Jason Voorhees is ridiculously hard to put down. He's been shocked, stabbed, electrocuted and blown up, and he even survived getting beaten half to death by Freddy Krueger. None of it really fazed him.

Physically, he's an absolute monster. He's punched through people's bodies, crushed skulls with his bare hands, and can throw grown adults around like they're nothing. So picture Jason starting to hack away with his machete. He is not going down easy.

Nemesis was engineered to hunt and kill members of STARS

Nemesis is a very different kind of monster, because this thing was literally engineered to hunt down and kill members of STARS. It's basically a biological weapon. It's incredibly strong, surprisingly fast, can attack with enormous tentacles, and even carries around weapons like rocket launchers and flamethrowers.

Nemesis has survived explosions, massive amounts of gunfire, even industrial acid. By the end of Resident Evil 3, it takes an enormous experimental energy weapon to finally destroy the body.

Regeneration and mutation give Nemesis the edge over Jason

Unlike Jason, Nemesis can actually regenerate and mutate when it takes enough damage. I think this is the kicker. Imagine Jason manages to stab Nemesis through the chest, maybe even hack off one of its arms. Instead of dying, Nemesis "just starts transforming into something even bigger and more dangerous."

Jason can survive some pretty insane punishment himself, but the problem is that he cannot mutate the way Nemesis does. Nemesis is just clearly the tougher one out of the two.

Regular Jason loses, though Uber Jason might be a different story

Maybe when we start talking about Uber Jason or Jason X or whatever, that's different. But against regular Jason, Nemesis holds pretty much every advantage in the fight. Nemesis wins.

Who do you think would come out on top between Jason Voorhees and Nemesis?
