Darth Vader vs Doctor Doom: I Say Doom Wins This One Easily

Darth Vader versus Doctor Doom. Who wins? With Darth Vader, it really comes down to the Force and his lightsaber. Might not sound like a lot, but in Vader's hands it's a deadly combination. My take is that Doctor Doom takes this one, and it isn't close.

Darth Vader's Force powers include ripping starships from the sky

Darth Vader has been able to bring starships out of the sky, lift up AT-ATs, create force barriers to stop attacks, and absolutely ragdoll other Force users with his telekinesis.

But his signature move has got to be the Force choke. Darth Vader can choke out pretty much anyone from anywhere. He's been able to do it from across the galaxy before, and doesn't even need to lift his hands. He just has to think about it and then it happens.

With the lightsaber, Darth Vader is one of the best duelists in the galaxy. He's easily beaten other lightsaber masters and even fought multiple fighters at once. The lightsaber itself is so hot and so powerful that it really takes a metal like beskar to stop it, since it's cutting right through everything else.

Doctor Doom's armor makes him strong enough to trade blows with Hulk

Dr. Doom isn't just some guy in medieval armor. For starters, the armor itself physically enhances Doom. It makes him strong enough to trade a few punches with Hulk and Thing. He's tough enough to take attacks from the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, and he's even got force fields that are constantly there and can block attacks from Thor.

But it's not just the armor. Doom is the perfect combination of tech meets magic. He's got energy blasts, electrical attacks, and he can hack and manipulate technology. He's legitimately one of the best sorcerers in Marvel, and he's even been the Sorcerer Supreme at different points. He can do basically anything with his magic.

He's even got an army of Doombots at his beck and call in case Vader decides to bring in some stormtroopers or flex his Imperial might during the fight.

Why I think Doom wins: Vader has nothing that can hurt him

Here's the problem for Darth Vader. Dr. Doom is already prepped and planned to stop any of Vader's attacks. There's really nothing that Darth Vader can do to hurt him. Dr. Doom's armor and force fields are tough enough to block lightsabers, and Doom can counter Force telekinesis with his own magic.

On the other hand, between Doom's magic and tech, Doom can instantly shut down Vader's armor and lightsaber with his magic. As I see it, Doom can really do anything here. This isn't even really close. Dr. Doom wins.
