Sandra Bullock Says She Feels "Vindicated" by Government Files Matching Her UFO Sighting
While promoting Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock described watching five lights merge and vanish over St. Martin, and says the same formation later showed up in released government documents and pilot sightings.
Sandra Bullock, one of the biggest movie stars of the last 30 years, is back promoting Practical Magic 2, and somehow the subject of UAPs came up. I don't even know how it came up, but she ended up describing a sighting she says she sat on for years, and only felt comfortable discussing once government documents came out describing the same thing.
In her own words, she was filming in St. Martin: "We're all lying on the sand, and we're all looking up at the sky. And I see this little point of light, and I said, 'Oh, it's a thinking to myself, satellite.' It's just moving across the sky. Then watching it, and then there's another little light that comes from a different direction to meet that light. Thought maybe it was a plane passing, but no, they stayed. And then there was another light and another light. There's five all together. They all sort of came together, and then all of a sudden they just took off like that." She adds that this was before drones were around, and that she stayed quiet about it "until the government released the documents. And that exact formation was also seen by legitimate pilots. So, I feel vindicated." She also says she firmly believes there's life elsewhere, that we can't be the only one, and that she thinks they're here.
Sandra Bullock Stayed Silent Until Government Files Matched What She Saw
What stands out to me is that she said she never really talked about it publicly and didn't say anything until the government released documentation of the exact same thing she saw. That's the part that got my attention first, that she waited for outside confirmation before going public with her own experience.
I think she's probably been sitting on this experience for a long time, telling it over a couple of glasses of wine to friends, but never in an interview, until the files started coming out and she realized it wasn't as taboo to talk about anymore. Now she's got a movie coming out and decided to bring it up.
Why I Agree With Her Point About Drones, With One Caveat
I agree with her first and foremost on the point she made about drones, that this happened before drones were even a thing.
That said, the counter to that could be that it was before we knew drones were a thing, and drones could have been something the government had been using and testing for a long time, similar to how it develops other technology quietly. I don't really feel that to be the case here, but someone could make that argument.
The Lights Joined Together and Then Took Off, Not Balloons, Not Planes
In the longer version of the clip, she describes one light she initially thought was maybe a plane, then another, then another, until they all joined and maneuvered in a way that, as she describes it, doesn't match anything we've really seen. It's not just lights or balloons behaving randomly, it's a formation that comes together and then departs.
Her "I'd Love It" Line Reminded Me of Independence Day
My co-host reminded me of Vivica Fox's coworker in Independence Day when Bullock said "I would love it" if they were here. I'd be fascinated if they were here, but I don't know if I'd love it, because I don't know what the deal would actually be. I don't know if I'd end up in a cage or what the situation would look like.
If They're Invisible, Quantum Physics Might Be Why
What I also found interesting is what she said near the end, that they're here and invisible, which would kind of make sense if you look at the quantum physics side of it, that they know how to bend time and space and use technology that lets them move the way they do. If that's the case, I think they've been here for a while, maybe even before us. Who knows.
That connects to a conversation I had recently about Leslie Kean and the Varsheni case, and whether the government should announce it if it has bodies. I said I don't think that alone would necessarily question religion, if it's just bodies without more information. But if there were concrete proof that these things put us here, that's a whole other conversation. That's not what we're talking about with Bullock's story, though.
Celebrity Disclosure Doesn't Add Validity, But It Adds Eyes and Ears
Now, this doesn't give any more validity to somebody with a lot of status who saw something compared to an average person who saw the same thing. What it does is get more people talking when clips pick up and a celebrity promoting a movie brings up an experience and what they really believe.
I think there are probably other people at her level of status who have had similar experiences, and seeing her talk about it might get them to share their own. I mentioned when I talked to Megan on her show about a singer, K.C., who had an experience like this. More and more singers, more and more high-profile people are saying this, and that just means more people will hear about it, not that it's more true.
The Government Files Haven't Been Groundbreaking, But They Could Be a Gateway
We've talked on this channel many times about how the stuff that has come out from the government hasn't been groundbreaking, and it hasn't been anything you can definitively point to and say that's exactly what it is, case closed. That hasn't happened with these files.
However, hearing this interview makes me realize that what these files and these videos have done is give people the confidence to come forward with their own experiences, because it's become less taboo to talk about. That's the same point I made about three years ago when I started following this topic, and I know some of you have been following it for ten, fifteen, even thirty or forty years.
These files could be the gateway that got a lot of people involved, and maybe someone like Sandra Bullock decides she wants to use her influence now because she knows what she saw. She's convinced. She doesn't think it was a light, she doesn't think it was a balloon. She's convinced. And maybe someone watching Practical Magic 2, seeing this interview, goes down the rabbit hole asking what files she's talking about, and ends up discovering all of this for the first time.
So is this just another celebrity talking and nobody should care, or is it actually relevant? What do you think?
