Kristian Harloff Sorts Through a Wave of New UFO Orb Footage, and Two Clips Really Grab Him
From zigzagging orbs near White Sands to a shape shifting object filmed on a beach, here is which clips hold up under scrutiny and which look staged.
More and more of this kind of footage keeps showing up online, orbs moving in strange, zigzagging patterns, popping up in twos and threes, then vanishing. That raises an obvious question: are we actually seeing more of these things in the sky, or are more people simply pointing cameras up and catching what was always there? I wanted to go through a batch of these clips, see what stands up and what does not, and get a read on what people think.
One Clip Filmed Near White Sands Shows Orbs Zigzagging in a Way Normal Aircraft Do Not
The first clip comes from an account whose caption reads: "there must be millions of these UAPs. I believe they're what the USG is trying to shoot down over White Sands. They have to be part of a global network cuz they're everywhere." The footage shows two of these objects at first, though the camera only ends up tracking one, moving in a way I can only describe as zigzagging, left, right, up, down, in a pattern that does not match how a normal aircraft moves.
Watching it, the obvious questions come up: what exactly would the government be trying to shoot down here, and how do you even shoot something like this out of the sky if it is moving this unpredictably? At one point it looks like they are just tracking a balloon, then a bird crosses the frame and the object appears to disappear behind it. This is the pattern I keep seeing across these videos, orbs that move in a way that reminds me of how David Fravor described his encounter, motion that was not in sync with how any of our aircraft or any normal craft works.
A Second Clip With Multiple Objects Might Just Be Fireflies
A separate piece of enhanced footage shows something going back and forth, up and down, before more objects pop into frame, first one, then three, then eventually a whole cluster moving back and forth before they all zip off. This one was captured in more enhanced or processed footage than the White Sands clip, and I wondered whether the different look was simply down to the way it was shot rather than anything else.
Depending on the angle and the way it was filmed, it is possible these are not high altitude objects at all. It occurred to me that this could be similar to a visual trick, almost like something out of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, where it looks like something is far up in the sky but could actually just be fireflies moving around close to the lens. That is a real possibility here. What still strikes me is that these objects zigzagged, stayed within the same particular area, and then were gone, which is the same behavior showing up again and again in this footage.
A Beach Clip Showing a Shape Shifting Object Is the Most Intriguing but Also the Most Frustrating
Another clip shows something sitting on the water at a beach. Someone says "okay," and then it appears to shoot up, changing into a different shape entirely. That shift, an object visibly changing its shape, is what makes this one of the most intriguing pieces of footage in the whole batch to me, and it is also the one that frustrates me the most.
My issue is simple: whoever filmed this needs to keep the camera rolling. There is no way you are still standing on that beach right now and the footage just stops. Film it until it moves, and show where it went. Did it go back into the water? Did it zip off somewhere? The clip starts with it sitting on the water, stays there, and then just ends. If you have footage that clear of something changing shape, and we have heard reports of that happening before, including with the drones over Jersey that reportedly changed shapes, you do not stop filming.
I mentioned that when I once saw an orb or some kind of light myself, it zipped off within about 15 or 20 seconds of me recording it, but I kept the camera on until it was gone. I still do not know what that was, it could have been nothing, but I waited. As I put it, "I'm not moving my camera off that thing until I see it go away." Maybe there is more footage out there of this beach clip that I have not seen, but based on what is available, it is one of the most intriguing pieces of footage so far if it turns out to be real.
Footage Said to Be From Colombia Looks Too Clean to Trust
Another clip, apparently filmed in Colombia, shows an object that is harder for me to believe. Something appears, then disappears, then reappears, and the clarity of the shot is what makes me suspicious rather than convinced. This is the problem with the AI era we are in now, footage can look polished and clear without actually being real.
Nobody around the person filming seems to react to it, and again, there is no footage of it zipping off or moving away, it is just there and then the clip ends. That absence lines up with the same complaint I have about the beach clip: if you get genuinely clear footage of something like this, film the whole encounter from beginning to end. Because this one is so clean and so contained, I said plainly, "I don't know how much I believe that one."
Orb Footage Said to Be From China Reminds Me of Something I Saw Myself in California
The last clip in this batch is described as coming from China and shows the same kind of orb behavior seen throughout this batch of footage. It stands still in the sky for a bit before floating off, then zooms away. This one is similar to something I personally witnessed a few years ago while living in California, an orb that also just stood in the sky for a while before floating off in a similar way.
I still do not really know what I saw back then, but it was interesting, and it moved the same particular way this clip shows. Between all the footage covered here, this one and the beach clip stand out to me as the most intriguing, while I remain doubtful about the Colombia clip specifically because it looks too polished and complete.
Why I Think Government Confirmation Still Matters More Than Viral Clips
The reason I wanted to go through all of this is that there is so much of this kind of footage circulating now, and I think it needs to be sorted out, whether these clips are real or not. That is part of what makes this hard, because I actually find a lot of this footage more intriguing than what the government has released, yet people take the government's material more seriously simply because it comes from an official source that says "this is what this is."
With footage like this, you are left to determine for yourself whether it is real or AI generated, and ironically that uncertainty might be part of why it feels more compelling, because maybe it is not staged. If footage like the Colombia clip turned out to be genuine, that would be enormous, which is why I called it "the Mona Lisa of the footage if you can get it." But it still needs someone, a government body or another authority, to come out and confirm it, saying that footage is real and we are releasing it. Without that, as I said, "that's when people go, okay, I think I believe you now," and until then it stays in the same category as everything else, intriguing, but unresolved.
Is any of this footage real, and if the beach clip is genuine, where did that object actually go?
