Ukrainian Astronomers Suggest the Moon May Be a UFO Base, But I Don't Buy That NASA Wouldn't Know
A new paper describes more than 20 unidentified objects near the lunar surface, and I think the theory raises bigger questions about who already knows what's up there.
A new paper out of Ukraine is reviving one of the oldest theories in the UFO world: that the moon itself could be functioning as a base. I want to give some credit here to SkyWatch Signal on X for surfacing this, because the claim comes from researchers at Ukraine's main astronomical observatory, who say high-speed telescope footage captured more than 20 unidentified objects near and apparently moving across the moon.
The Paper Divides the Objects Into Two Groups With Specific Measurements
According to the paper, the authors split what they recorded into two categories: stationary objects that flash in repeating patterns, and large disc shaped objects that appear to travel over the lunar surface. Some of those disc shaped objects are said to measure between 25 and 40 kilometers across, with the objects estimated at roughly 36 kilometers wide and moving at speeds of up to 11 kilometers per second.
The researchers also report repeating brightness fluctuations and rotation patterns that they interpret as signs of structured technological behavior. The authors go further than just describing the footage. They openly propose that the moon may serve as a base for UFOs, that objects from it could reach Earth in around 20 minutes, and that what we call UAP may be the Earth side manifestation of the same phenomenon.
These Conclusions Are Not Established Fact
I want to be clear that these conclusions aren't established fact. The distance, size, and speed estimates depend heavily on the assumption that the objects were genuinely associated with the moon rather than foreign objects, atmospheric effects, or image processing artifacts. That's a real caveat that has to sit alongside the headline numbers.
Still, I think the raw footage and methodology deserve serious independent review, because if even part of the analysis holds up, we need to know exactly what is moving there.
My Take: I Don't Think NASA Wouldn't Know
What this does for me is put a very specific question on the table. If this stuff turns out to be factual, and it is indeed a base on the moon for UFOs, I don't buy that NASA didn't know about it. Of course they do, or of course they did, if it turns out to be factual.
I've said this many times before: I'm always more under the assumption that interdimensional, anti-gravity explanations make more sense from a quantum physics standpoint than the idea that we simply can't track what's going on in space. Once you're outside the atmosphere, even fast moving things can still be picked up. We've talked before about tracking a comet from months away, so if there was a base or a hub feeding into Earth's atmosphere, I still don't know how NASA and others wouldn't be able to detect that. Maybe they couldn't, I'll admit that's possible, and it doesn't rule the theory out. But it seems more likely to me that people know this stuff and just aren't telling us.
The Frustration Keeps Building With Every New Report
There are tons of these reports coming out on a daily basis now, along with more releases from the Pentagon and talk about NDAs that are supposed to be lifted. That makes me wonder what else we could actually know, and what the truth of all of it really is. It's a hidden kind of mystery that gets more frustrating the more I cover it, talk about it, hear about it, and read about it.
I keep coming back to documents that came out about a month ago describing things flying over nuclear facilities, which were largely laughed off and not taken seriously. To me, that kind of dismissal would be irresponsible if there's any relevance to any of this. I think people know about it and know what it is, they just don't tell us.
A Recalled Interview About Why Contact Hasn't Happened
This connects to something I referenced from an appearance I think was with Rogan that I brought up last Friday, where we talked about how, if any of this is real, it would amount to what was described as a crime against humanity. To me it mainly shows there isn't unity among human beings, which is one of the reasons given for why these things supposedly don't want to present themselves.
I remember an interview, I believe it was someone Jesse Michaels had interviewed, involving a prominent leader who described having spent time with other beings, though not through abduction. When asked why he hadn't revealed himself, the answer given was: "Human beings aren't ready. They're just not evolved in a way that you know would would make sense for them to know or understand what we've achieved through evolution and other things, too." I found that to be some of the most realistic stuff I've heard on this, whether or not it's true.
Where I Land on a Possible Lunar Base
The idea that a base could be on the moon is fascinating to me. Given the distance and the technology we already have, I feel like we should know what's going on up there, and if there really was a base, it's big, but maybe not big enough to hide. Or maybe it is. I don't know.
"I don't find it to be a crazy theory. I really don't," is where I land on this. What I do think is close to a guarantee is that NASA, and whoever else it may be, other countries included, already knows about this. That's at least what I think.
What do you make of a possible base on the moon: possible, or nonsense?
