Black Frieza With the Third Eye From Dragon Ball Daima Could Even Threaten Lord Beerus
Combining Dragon Ball Daima's most dangerous artifact with Dragon Ball Super's strongest villain could create a threat to the entire multiverse, according to a theory I have been building out.
Dragon Ball Daima revealed that the third eye is one of the most powerful artifacts we've ever seen. It took the villain who wielded it from a peel off looking comedy character to a muscular, gigantic, pride trooper looking comedy character, yet his magic power still let him fend off warriors and survive anything Vegeta and Goku threw at him thanks to that third eye and the incredible regenerative powers it grants. Over in Dragon Ball Super, we have Black Frieza, who right now is objectively the most powerful villain we've ever seen. He one shotted Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta at the end of the Granola arc. So what would happen if you combined the two? What if Frieza got the third eye?
I want to explain why this is not only plausible, but very possible, by walking through the pieces Dragon Ball Daima and Dragon Ball Super have already put on the board.
The Post Credit Reveal in Dragon Ball Daima Shows Third Eyes Are for Sale
In the post credit scene of Dragon Ball Daima episode 20, after the heroes vanquished that villain by knocking the eye out of his head from behind, we discovered that the shop in the third demon realm, the same place selling fusion bugs and revive bugs, also had a number of third eyes available for a price. That means potentially anybody could get a third eye and maximize their power, becoming a serious threat not just to the ruler of the demon realm, but possibly to the entire multiverse.
Black Frieza's Training in an Alternate Dimension Ties Directly Into This
A detail you may not remember is that when Frieza revealed his black form at the end of the Granola arc in the Dragon Ball Super manga, he explained that he trained in an alternate dimension that works kind of like a hyperbolic time chamber, the Room of Spirit and Time, and that is how he gained this power in a very short time. We also discovered in the Merus arc that there are other dimensions sharing those same time bending attributes, since we saw Merus train Goku in one of them. So the Room of Spirit and Time on Earth is not the only place that follows these time bending rules.
That tells us Frieza somehow discovered access to one of these dimensions somewhere in space, and it matters because we know Frieza's empire has spread throughout Universe 7. Not necessarily every corner, but it continues to spread. Logically, that suggests Frieza's empire should eventually discover the being revealed in Dragon Ball Daima as the only way to access the demon realm, connecting it to the multiverse at various access points, provided you have the password.
How Frieza Could Actually Get the Password Into the Demon Realm
The least rational option, as I picture it, would be to kidnap the Supreme Kai and force him to give up the password, him or Kibito, either would do, and threaten to murder the gatekeeper being himself if they refuse. That could work because Frieza is powerful enough that there is nothing the Supreme Kai or the gatekeeper could do about it. But that raises the question of whether destroying the gatekeeper would ruin access to the demon realm entirely, and unfortunately Dragon Ball Daima never elaborated on that, aside from the moment that villain shut off the gatekeeper while he was asleep and the heroes were already inside.
The most rational option would be to exploit Zuno instead, forcing him to reveal the password. This approach is far more subtle and would not draw a reaction from Lord Beerus, at least not yet. Zuno was revealed all the way back in the Universe 6 arc when Jaco and Bulma went to visit him. He knows all, and he was the one who helped Zamasu gather the information he needed in the Goku Black arc. We have not seen Zuno in some time, but he would be exactly the kind of resource useful for Frieza's ambitions, since if Zuno knows everything, he should know all about the demon realm and its gatekeeper too.
Frieza Could End Up Conquering the Demon Realm Before Ever Finding the Third Eye
Once Frieza has that information from Zuno, he goes back to the gatekeeper, gives him the password, and gets into the demon realm. The problem is he still would not actually know about the third eye at that point. Black Frieza and his troops end up there, he is probably going to head to Demon World 3. Because of the giant hole Goku put through Demon World 1, 2, and 3 with his Kamehameha on that villain in Dragon Ball Daima episode 20, Frieza would be able to access all three demon realms without needing the gatekeeper at all after that. The demon realm's ruler is not going to do anything to stop him.
Frieza could end up conquering the demon realm purely on his own power. I picture him declaring, "nobody in this disgusting realm can dream of surpassing me in my power," and dismissing some of the realm's lesser beings as an appetizer while its rulers become the main course. Once Frieza is effectively king of the demon realm, that is when he could start learning about the third eye, since there would obviously be some kind of documentation. Dr. Arensu has the spell book, and even though she does not want someone like Frieza around, she is cunning enough that I could see her handing over the information anyway.
From there, Frieza's minions would search the demon realm until they found the shop in the third demon world selling third eyes. If that villain's forces were a headache, Frieza's troops would be worse. And I do not think Frieza kills the shopkeeper for it. There is no need, not when the store has plenty of other supplies useful to his troops. The Frieza Force is a business after all, and it would not make sense to kill off the suppliers.
A Third Eyed Black Frieza Might Be Powerful Enough to Threaten Beerus
Looking at how the third eye powered up that villain, in my opinion Frieza combined with the magical properties of the third eye, on top of already having a Black Frieza form that can one shot Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta, could cause a serious problem. We could be talking about a Frieza capable of destroying Beerus. Because of the sheer power the third eye grants, along with the incredible stamina and healing properties that come with it, Beerus might not be able to do anything except possibly Hakai him, and even then Frieza's newfound speed and magic power might be enough to outdo him.
Stopping This Version of Frieza Would Take the Entire Multiverse
This is the storyline I think Dragon Ball Super needs to go down, the storyline I want to see for Black Frieza, one that bridges Dragon Ball Daima and Dragon Ball Super. To beat a Frieza like this, they would have to knock the third eye out from behind his head, which would be far harder than it was against that villain. It would take the efforts of Ultra Instinct Goku, Ultra Ego Vegeta, and Gohan Beast, and honestly it might take everyone from the multiverse teaming up, including Jiren, the Pride Troopers, and Hit. I shudder to think about the amount of power a being like that would possess. I hope we really get this story arc or something similar, because it would raise the stakes of Dragon Ball forever.
Do you think Frieza with the third eye would beat Lord Beerus?
