Superman vs He-Man: who wins the fight, and how close is it?
Castle Grayskull's champion has the power and the magic to trouble Superman, but not enough to beat him
Superman versus He-Man: who wins? I think Superman wins this one, but the fight would be a lot closer than you might imagine. He-Man is a force to be reckoned with, and he has one particular weapon that could cause the Man of Steel serious problems.
Some people will say right away that of course Superman wins. He's faster and stronger, he can fly, and he regularly fights some of the most powerful beings in the DC universe. On paper, he's up against an 80s cartoon character, a muscular man wearing very little clothing. My answer is that, even though I believe Superman comes out on top, He-Man deserves to be taken far more seriously than that.
He-Man's power from Grayskull and the Sword of Power
He-Man draws his power directly from Grayskull. That gives him immense strength and durability, on par with some of the strongest characters in comics. On top of that, he can wield very powerful magic.
Then there's the Sword of Power. It's a very strong magical weapon, and I think you could argue it rivals Thor's hammer.
Why magic is a problem for Superman
This is bad news for Superman, because he has a complicated relationship with magic. He isn't necessarily defeated by it instantly, and he doesn't drop to the ground the moment someone uses it against him. But unlike most other things, magic can affect him in a way that makes his usual durability useless. That means He-Man could hurt him with that sword.
Superman and He-Man have already fought in the comics
The two have fought in the comics before. In DC Universe vs. Masters of the Universe, He-Man appeared to kill Superman. Magic was manipulating the whole situation, though, so it wasn't a decisive victory.
Then, in Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe, He-Man fights the evil Superman from the Injustice world. So there is an established precedent for He-Man being able to keep up with the Man of Steel.
Why the main DC Superman still beats He-Man
We're talking about DC's main Superman here, though. He-Man might manage to make it a close fight, but Superman outclasses him in everything. I do think He-Man can keep the result close. There's even an unwritten rule in the universe that no one can technically be stronger than He-Man; at best, they can only match him.
Still, considering Superman's abilities and how many heroes like He-Man he has beaten before, I'm saying he wins this fight. Superman wins.

More on Superman →I think Gunn will cast a relatively unknown, non-movie-star actor close in age to the 33-year-old Corenswet, likely someone from TV or indie film, since Gunn values the best actor for the role over star power and may want Batman and Superman to be future best friends.
