White Vision vs a Future Sentinel: Why Vision Wins the Fight
A Sentinel built to adapt to mutant powers runs into an opponent that isn't a mutant at all.
White Vision versus a future Sentinel: who wins? White Vision wins, and this fight really comes down to whether the Sentinel can figure out how to actually hit Vision. That's what it's going to spend the entire fight trying to do.
Future Sentinels are built to adapt to mutant powers
Now, these Sentinels are dangerous. They're basically designed to kill mutants, and they can adapt their bodies to counter whatever powers they're fighting.
We saw them tear Colossus apart, counter Iceman's ice, adapt to the fire of another mutant, and basically wipe out entire teams of X-Men.
Vision phases through any attack the Sentinel tries
So let's say one of these things sees White Vision and attacks. It starts with its normal weapons, trying to grab him, stab him, rip him apart. And of course, Vision just phases straight through it.
Okay, so the Sentinel adapts. Maybe it starts using energy attacks instead, or changes its body to become more durable. Vision can phase through those attacks, too.
That's really the problem here. The Sentinels can adapt to all kinds of mutant powers, but they can't adapt to Vision because Vision isn't a mutant.
White Vision's phasing lets him hit back from inside the Sentinel
And White Vision isn't exactly weak, either. We saw him fight the original Vision, trading energy blasts, flying through buildings, and battling with basically the same powers.
He's got a body made out of vibranium, so he's incredibly strong and durable. He can fly and fire powerful energy beams.
Vision can phase through any attack coming his way, and simultaneously phase into the Sentinel, messing up its insides without even needing to break the armor. Because of that, White Vision wins.
Do you think a Sentinel could find any way to land a hit on White Vision?
