Predator vs Creeper: who wins, according to DanCo?
The Creeper can regenerate and fight up close, but the hunter's long range weapons and the Creeper's 23 day feeding window decide the matchup
Put the Predator up against the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers and I think the Predator wins. The Creeper is strong enough to make it a fight up close, but the Predator's technology means it doesn't actually need to get in close.
The matchup pits the alien hunter from Predator (1987), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, against the winged monster of Jeepers Creepers (2001), starring Gina Philips and Justin Long. Imagine the Predator coming down from outer space to Earth, looking for the ultimate trophy. Instead of finding a bunch of military soldiers, he finds the Creeper.
The Creeper's strength, wings and gruesome regeneration
The Creeper is "an absolute nightmare." He has superhuman strength, razor sharp claws, enormous wings and a terrifying ability to regenerate. Unlike Wolverine or Deadpool, "the way he heals is honestly pretty disgusting." If the Creeper loses an arm, an eye or almost any other body part, he can replace it by eating the corresponding part from one of his victims.
He isn't only brute force, either. The Creeper is smart. He builds weapons, sets traps and knows how to stalk people without being seen.
The Predator's camouflage, plasma cannon and disc give it the edge
This is where the Predator has a big advantage: its tech and its weapons. He has camouflage, thermal vision, wrist blades and a shoulder mounted plasma cannon able to blow apart soldiers. On top of that, he carries a disc that can slice right through targets before returning to its owner.
The Creeper is definitely strong enough to give the Predator a good fight if he manages to get in close. The Predator doesn't need to get in close, though. He can track the Creeper from a distance, study his movements and attack with weapons that can take a target out in one shot.
The Creeper's 23 day feeding window works against him
Sure, I guess the Creeper could technically recover from that kind of damage. But he only has 23 days to feed before going dormant for another 23 years.
Odds are he's going to have a lot of damage to recover from by the end of this fight. The Predator wins.
