Jason Voorhees vs The Mountain: who wins, per DanCo?

Jason Voorhees against The Mountain is a close fight, but I think Jason wins it. Picture Gregor Clegane, The Mountain from Game of Thrones, wandering the woods around Crystal Lake and running into Jason face to face. Man, that's a great idea: two powerful humans who became even stronger after turning into zombies.

The Mountain was a monster even before he was undead

The Mountain is a monster in every sense of the word. He's huge, unbelievably strong, wears heavy armor and swings that giant sword. Look at what he did to Oberyn Martell. Even after being stabbed again and again with a poisoned spear, Gregor managed to grab Oberyn, knock his teeth out and crush his skull with his bare hands.

That was before he became the undead Mountain. Believe it or not, after he was brought back to life, Gregor got even harder to kill. In his final fight with the Hound, he survived multiple sword strikes, including a direct stab to the head, and kept on fighting. So you can't say this fight would be easy for either of them. You could argue The Mountain is as strong as Jason and almost as hard to kill.

Why Jason Voorhees has the more impressive feats

When we look at their feats, even though they're similar, I think Jason is ultimately more impressive, especially as a zombie. We're talking about someone strong enough to punch through people's bodies, tear off limbs and crush skulls with his bare hands. He's survived gunshots, explosions and even being torn to pieces. Sure, The Mountain is very strong, but Jason is a killing machine.

Gregor's armor and sword versus Jason getting close

I think Gregor's biggest advantage is his armor and weapons. He has a sword against a machete, he's already wearing armor, and he has experience fighting people who use swords. But I think all Jason ultimately needs is to get close, and The Mountain is slow and dumb enough to let that happen. Once Jason is close, he's proven he's strong enough to tear people apart easily, and I think the zombie Mountain would hit his limits there.

It's a very close contest, and you could make a case for The Mountain winning. But I prefer Jason's strength and endurance, and frankly, he has better feats. Jason Voorhees is the winner.
