RFK Jr. Says NASA Scientists and Navy SEALs Approached Him About UAP Recoveries

Speaking with Anna Paulina Luna, he described a group that wanted him to go public. Unless it happened off air, I'd hope Luna would ask to speak with those people herself.

RFK Jr. says a group of high level NASA scientists and Navy SEALs who had been on recovery teams approached him to talk about UAPs, and that they wanted him to go public with what they told him. He made the comments in a conversation on a podcast with Anna Paulina Luna, and I want to go into what that all means, if anything.

The way he tells it, he was living in Palm Beach when the group came to him. He decided against going public, largely because of how often he is already tied to conspiracy theories.

RFK Jr. says the group described calling in ships and recovering them

According to RFK Jr., the people who approached him included "very high level NASA scientists and then a bunch of Navy Seals" who had been on recovery teams. Crash retrieval programs came up in the exchange as the description of what those teams were part of. He said "some of the stuff they talked about was crazy," including how they had figured out how to call some of the ships in, and that they were under orders to destroy them and recover them.

He said the group wanted him to take this public. His hesitation was that he already has so many counts against him for conspiracy theories, and he didn't want to add another. Luna's response was that, as in any field of study, people will say a lot, but the question is whether you can prove it and what the actual data is.

I think Luna is right about proof, but the sources still carry weight

I think she's right at the end there, and I'm a little torn. Part of it is that there are a lot of conspiracy theories RFK Jr. is associated with, and some people will say this is just another crazy thing he's saying with no merit to it. Where Luna is right is that if you don't have any evidence, and all you can say is that a bunch of scientists and Navy SEALs told you this, then going public with nothing doesn't get you very far. At first you hear scientists and Navy SEALs and think maybe there's something to it, but then you ask what you actually have. Basically, the most he can really do is what he did on that podcast.

The valid side of it is that he wasn't just talking to somebody random. These were, as he said, NASA scientists and Navy SEALs. The fact that he's talking to those kinds of people, and they're saying things we've heard before, matters. We've talked about the reverse engineering, and Luna brings up that side of things pretty quickly in the conversation.

The follow up I wanted Luna to ask

He doesn't necessarily have to go public with it, but why not go further? If these guys are credible, why can't he get into the discussion as well? It's one thing to say he can't go public because he doesn't want to be associated with this and doesn't have proof. But if he lent another voice, and lent the resources he has, it would help dramatically.

The follow up question for me would be whether these people could be pressed. Unless this happened off air, you would hope Luna, as one of the heads of this task force, would ask if she could get in touch with them, speak with them, and whether they would want to talk to her. It doesn't have to be RFK Jr. who goes public. I get why people want that because of who he is, but if he can use his connections to introduce those people to Luna, she can take it farther down the road. That's the conversation I want to see, rather than the two of them kind of giggling about how you just have to have proof.

I'd want her to ask whether he'd feel comfortable letting her know off air who these people are, and to make clear that's where her head is. If you're the person in that position, you should be trying to get as much information as possible. I know he's not necessarily going to give their names, but she could ask to speak with them.

More people are approaching officials, and I wouldn't doubt RFK Jr. spoke to these people

The overall story is that more and more people are approaching high level officials, especially, I guess, in this administration, which wants to show it is open about this stuff. So I guess more people are willing to approach those involved in the government right now because they feel they want to expose it. Who is doing it just for clicks and who is really trying to get to the bottom of this? Nobody really knows.

I wouldn't doubt that he spoke to these people and that they said this. Why would he randomly bring up that they talked about reverse engineering and that some of what they said was crazy? He doesn't seem very educated on the topic, or doesn't really try to dive too much into it.

Government officials should have the knowledge of outside UAP researchers

That's the other thing. When you listen to someone like Jeremy Corbell or James Fox, they seem way more educated on this entire topic than anybody in the government running these things. I was talking to someone last night who's interested in the topic, and I told him I approach this like an outside spectator who's very interested in it and believes there are things flying around out there. I'm not a UAP historian. I'm knowledgeable about what I've covered and I know the players in the game, but there are people who just know.

That type of knowledge is what I think everyone running these task forces should have, because when they're out talking to people, they can educate them and know all the players in the game. I'd like to see more of that. The task force has been kind of quiet lately. That doesn't mean they necessarily haven't been working on this stuff, but they've been quiet in public. With elections coming up in November, this isn't going to be a topic they put all their resources into right now, and that makes sense.

Do NASA scientists and Navy SEALs describing this kind of work add merit to the idea of a reverse engineering program, and should these people be brought in to testify?
