For the Super Mario Galaxy movie, a miniature Bowser's cauldron popcorn bucket was made that can only hold five to 11 curls of popcorn. It's easy to ask what the point is, but that is the point.
The goal is to create something ridiculous that gets people talking. The more ridiculous, the better, because that spreads on social media.
The posts complaining about how small this bucket is may look like criticism. What many people may not realize is that all of them are advertising the fact that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was in theaters.
