Godzilla vs Conquest: Who Wins in a Fight?

Godzilla versus Conquest comes down to one question: does speed beat durability? In my view, Conquest has a huge early advantage, but Godzilla's toughness and firepower end up deciding the fight.

Godzilla might be bigger and stronger, but Conquest is so much faster that Godzilla is going to struggle just to hit him. Conquest can fly across the planet in the middle of a fight and is able to move faster than light when he wants to. He is also small enough compared to Godzilla that he is basically going to be a human-sized missile flying through his head.

Conquest's Speed and Power Were on Full Display Against Invincible

Conquest definitely has the power to hurt Godzilla too. During most of his fight with Invincible, he was basically just playing around, and their collisions were still powerful enough to destroy buildings and devastate cities.

Putting that power together with his speed, Conquest could fly around Godzilla, hammer his eyes, knock him down, and attack him from behind. Based on that, it looks like he was going to win.

Can Conquest Actually Put Godzilla Down for Good?

The real question is whether Conquest can actually kill Godzilla, because Godzilla is ridiculously durable. He survived the Oxygen Destroyer. He survived Ghidorah carrying him into the sky and dropping him back down to Earth. He took Kong's axe right on the head, and then Kong unloaded on him again with the beast glove, repeatedly punching Godzilla in the face, only for Godzilla to get back up and almost kill him. Godzilla even survived the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs.

And that is before factoring in evolved Godzilla, who went around absorbing as much radiation as possible and evolved into a form capable of holding roughly 20 times as much energy as before. So Conquest can hurt Godzilla, but I don't think Conquest ever showed anything that makes me think he can put Godzilla down for good.

Godzilla's Atomic Breath Is on a Different Scale Than What Hurt Conquest

Godzilla does not really have that same problem, because Conquest is tough, but Atom Eve showed us that enough energy can seriously mess him up. Her blast burned a huge portion of the skin straight off his body.

Godzilla's atomic breath is on a completely different scale. Before Godzilla even evolved, he fired his atomic breath into the ground in Hong Kong and kept going until he drilled all the way to the center of the Earth.

My Verdict: Godzilla Wins

Considering Conquest is the kind of fighter who actually enjoys trading punches and going up against opponents who can hurt him, I think he eventually gives Godzilla an opening. Once that happens, Godzilla's durability and the sheer scale of his atomic breath take over.

My call is Godzilla wins this one.
