Avengers: Doomsday Post-Credits Scenes Reportedly Tease Doom and Wanda

New reports about the post-credits scenes for Avengers: Doomsday say the main one teases Doctor Doom and Wanda Maximoff, with both insiders behind the reports hinting that Doom is in control of Wanda. A second scene reportedly involves Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and together they would lead right into Avengers: Secret Wars.

These reports bring a lot of what we've been hearing recently about Doomsday and Secret Wars full circle. Later in this piece, I'll also get into a report about Captain America and Thor stumbling across something in a wrecked TVA, and why I think Wanda may have been there all along.

Two insiders say the main Avengers: Doomsday post-credits scene teases Doom and Wanda

These reports come from two big insiders. One of them said, "I have just received the full description of the main post-credits in Avengers Doomsday." MyTimeToShineHello said she got the full details for the post-credits scene too, and both of them are teasing Doom and Wanda.

We've heard reports about this before, but there are more details now. It looks like both are hinting that Doom is in control of Wanda. That doesn't necessarily mean he's in control of her throughout the entire events of Avengers: Doomsday, and it doesn't even necessarily mean that he uses her in any way, shape, or form.

Doom's witches keep growing, and Wanda could be one of the leaders

We've been hearing a lot of different reports about the witches who follow Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. Marvel recently put out a promo that showed the witches, the followers of Doctor Doom, and it showed five of them. Other insiders had already said there are more witches than just the three female witches we knew about.

Marvel just showed us five, so maybe there are five. I've even heard that there are six. Maybe there's just a bunch of them. But he's going to have main ones who are higher up than the others. Wanda could be one of them. That's one thing we've heard, but we've also heard she might not be, and that her story might be saved for Secret Wars. It seems like there are a few characters that might happen for.

According to these new reports, it also seems like Captain America and Thor might stumble across Wanda at some point in the movie. I'll explain that below.

Reshoots reportedly added a new Wanda scene, and she might have an army

The insider who received the full description says a post-credits scene involving Wanda Maximoff is apparently going to be one of them, and the other involves Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. These are reportedly the confirmed choices for the current cut of Avengers: Doomsday.

All of the filming is done. They went back and did reshoots, and a lot of insiders reported that during those reshoots Marvel added some scenes, and they might alter some scenes a little or cut ones they don't think fit the film very well. One of the things a lot of people reported is that they shot a new post-credits scene involving Wanda, different from what we'd heard before.

We've heard different things about this scene, like that it could show her with a team, but now there seems to be a little bit of a twist. It seems like she might actually have an army. That sounds really interesting, and I think it makes a lot of sense if we think about what's really going to happen.

I think Wanda will be a lieutenant in Doom's army, inspired by The Children's Crusade

Both insiders have basically hinted that Doom has control of Wanda with the images they shared, which come from The Children's Crusade storyline, where Wanda is with Doom. In that story she actively chooses Doom, but I think there's going to be more to it in Avengers: Secret Wars. I think Doom is basically going to be controlling Wanda. He's going to be inside her head, and the army they're talking about Wanda having is really Doom's army.

I think she's going to be like a lieutenant in Doom's army, because we know he has leaders. We've already seen leaked concept art that shows Doctor Strange, Gambit, and Sam Wilson's Captain America. We've also seen leaked concept art showing Yelena literally bringing somebody to him with a chain around them, with her holding the chain. Remember, the idea is that he's going to win, create Battleworld, and no one is going to remember the past except a handful of heroes.

The post-credits scene is supposed to show Doctor Doom in possession of Wanda, which would directly connect to the reports we've been hearing about The Children's Crusade. In that storyline, Wanda's kids, Billy and Tommy, go to rescue her. Eventually the Avengers and the X-Men show up, and Wanda is so strong that she sends everybody away and chooses to be with Doctor Doom. I've said this before: he's an idiot and chooses not to be with her. He picks power. Obviously it's going to be different in the MCU.

The post-credits scene is going to set up the reveal that Doom is with Wanda, and it could reveal that she has an army, because MyTimeToShineHello also stated that Wanda has an army after teasing Doom and Wanda. That makes sense to me.

Resistance teams could distract Wanda's army while the Young Avengers go after her

Over the last week we've heard about the Resistance Avengers, and that there are going to be groups like the West Coast Avengers. Then there's the other post-credits scene, with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Spider-Man and Wolverine are going to look for Loki, and Loki is basically going to be Avengers Prime.

There are going to be these different teams, and some of them are the resistance. They're going to distract Wanda's army, which will then allow the Young Avengers to go after her. That team includes Billy and Tommy, who are Wiccan and Speed, plus Kamala Khan, Kate Bishop, and Cassie Lang. I wouldn't be surprised if America Chavez is there too.

They're going to try to get Wanda, and I definitely think Vision is going to be part of that as well. We've seen the concept art with him and Star-Lord, and I think it's going to be just hilarious. They're going to invade Doom's castle, and with Wanda's army distracted, that's how they'll be able to get inside.

Many different insiders at this point, including Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus, have said The Children's Crusade storyline is happening in this movie, with Wanda there under Doom. To us she's a prisoner, but not to her. Doom has her mind, and really he has everybody's mind. They don't think they're prisoners, but to the audience, it's clear they are.

Captain America and Thor may find Wanda in a wrecked TVA

Another thing MyTimeToShineHello said is that Cap and Thor barrel through a wrecked TVA and see something that will change everything, hinting that Wanda is actually being kept there. Since WandaVision, Loki, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there have been a lot of theories that the TVA grabbed Wanda after she brought Wundagore Mountain down on herself.

I think the TVA could definitely have grabbed her and have her there. If Doom goes to the TVA and wrecks it, which we've heard he does, and he just happens to see her there, he'll take her. Maybe she's somehow not conscious. Maybe the TVA did something, or maybe the mountain did fall on her and she's knocked out, and maybe that affected her brain, and Doom gets her and kind of brings her back.

She's going to trust Doctor Doom, especially if he tells her they have to try to save the multiverse because it's collapsing and he needs her help. Then when we get to Secret Wars and she's by his side, he'll probably erase her memory just like everybody else's and use her, but also keep her in the castle. We've actually heard reports that she's not going to be allowed to leave the castle and that she'll have an army so she can basically be a lieutenant. I think that's pretty cool. There are a lot of layers stacking on top of each other now.

Battleworld would give Doom reasons to keep armies like the Thor Corps

We're going to have a lot of different Avengers teams, and Secret Wars takes place on Battleworld. In the comics, Battleworld is massive and has so many different parts. There's a whole part that just has Marvel Zombies. Doom takes the Thing, a gigantic version of him, and literally uses his arms to form a wall around his castle. Basically everything outside the castle is chaos, with villains who control areas and zombies in others. It's just pretty crazy.

So it makes sense that Doom has things like the Thor Corps, who are basically his police force, and it seems like Wanda might be in control of something like that. Doctor Strange is also going to be at the head of it. Basically there are a lot of people, a lot of infantry I would say, for the higher-ups who command them to keep bad things out.

Doom knows why, too. Probably at some point somebody will come for him, whether that's people out there who want more power, or actual Avengers who maybe get awakened, or who somehow, via life rafts, the Quantum Realm, or the Void, were able to stay outside Doom erasing everybody's memory and then get to Battleworld, which we know is going to happen. Doom is incredibly smart. He kind of sees ahead and is prepped for all of it, with armies waiting to go against anyone who opposes him.

The Cap and Thor moment likely isn't one of the post-credits scenes

The Cap and Thor scene, where they run through and see something that will change everything, seems like it's going to happen during the movie. I don't think that would be the post-credits scene.

The post-credits scenes seem like they're just going to be Doom having Wanda, and then Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man alive, because early in the movie they're going to try to make it seem like those two died. So those are the two post-credits scenes. They imply a lot about what the story is going to be for Avengers: Secret Wars.
