King Kong vs the Colossal Titan: Why I Think Kong Wins This One
Size, speed and one borrowed axe decide this monster matchup, in my view
King Kong against the Colossal Titan comes down to size, speed and one very unfair weapon upgrade by the end. My verdict: Kong wins.
The Colossal Titan's first problem is that for once he is not actually the biggest one in the fight. That Titan stands around 200 feet tall, while Kong is over 330 feet. So Kong is significantly bigger.
The Colossal Titan's transformation explosion could even the odds
That size disadvantage might be offset by the Titan's one big attack, its transformation. When Armin transformed, he basically turned himself into a walking nuclear bomb. The explosion completely devastated the harbor, destroyed Marley's naval fleet, and sent a gigantic shock wave through the city. If Kong is standing right beside Armin when that happens, he is definitely going to feel it.
Even so, I don't think it kills him. Kong has been mauled by Godzilla, beaten, clawed, thrown around, and stomped on, and he survived an explosion when his axe overloaded with Godzilla's energy. He has survived it all. If Kong gets back up after that opening explosion, honestly, I think the fight is basically over, because physically these two are not close.
Kong's strength and speed put him far ahead physically
The Colossal Titan is strong enough to kick the Attack Titan away, but Kong can wrestle with Godzilla. He can stagger him with his punches and straight up knock him out.
Kong is also way, way faster. The Colossal Titan is actually really held back by how slow he is, while Kong is sprinting, jumping, climbing buildings, and dodging attacks.
The Colossal Titan's steam attack burns itself out
Armin still does have one advantage, his heat. The Colossal Titan can release an insane amount of superheated steam from his body, hot enough to literally cook a person alive and powerful enough to keep attackers from getting too close. So Kong is going to get burned by it.
But there is a problem with that too. Every time the Colossal Titan releases steam, he is literally burning through his own muscle to create it. So, every time he's getting weaker and weaker.
Giving Kong the axe makes this an unfair finish
At the end of the day, this is a 330 foot ape strong enough to hurt Godzilla, punching a Titan whose body can be damaged by normal anti-Titan weapons. Then give Kong the glove and his axe, and it becomes unfair. That axe can cut through Godzilla and can literally chop Mechagodzilla apart.
One clean hit with that axe and the Colossal Titan is done. King Kong wins.
