Avengers Doomsday Leaks Reportedly Show Wolverine, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and a Destroyed TVA

New leaked photos and nearly 60 set shots point to an opening battle between the X-Men and Spider-Man's rogues gallery, and a TVA left in ruins.

A fresh batch of leaked photos and set shots reportedly connected to Avengers Doomsday surfaced over the last 24 hours, showing Wolverine, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Loki at the TVA, and what looks like a completely destroyed TVA. I want to flag up front that it is 2026, and what's happening lately is that Twitter scoopsters are getting actual leaks and then running them through AI to avoid copyright strikes, so anything that looks too clean should be treated with suspicion. As I put it, "it just often makes covering them with any sort of suspension of disbelief impossible when you can simply say, well, it's probably just AI." This is also a full spoiler warning section, since the hyperpixelated Doom versus Sentinels leak from earlier turned out to be real even though the clearer versions that followed were AI renderings of it.

Wolverine and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man photos line up with earlier scene leaks

The first set came as three photos, showing Hugh Jackman's Wolverine with his mask on, Ryan Reynolds off center with his mask off, and what looks like a behind the scenes screenshot. There is also a shot of Wolverine and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man doing mocap work against a blue screen, similar to shots that leaked roughly a year ago showing Wolverine impaled. A separate shot of Maguire's Spider-Man is heavily backlit, blowing out the foreground, though it is still easy to tell it's him, and some of the images carry faint watermarking.

These images line up with plot leaks claiming Avengers Doomsday opens with Wolverine, Deadpool, and Magneto from the X-Men in the original 2000s movie universe fighting Spider-Man and his rogues gallery, trying to destroy that universe so it does not destroy the X-Men's own. Those same leaks indicate the X-Men have already been at this for some time before the film even starts.

What I like about this is that the movie is not holding our hand or building the whole story from scratch. We are dropped into the middle of the action, which reminds me of old school Star Wars, where Darth Vader shows up as a huge villain with no backstory dump and you are simply expected to catch up. Without an infinite runway of movies to explain Doom, jumping in near the end, right before Battleworld gets created, seems like the second best way to do it. There will still be some hand holding early on for anyone who has not seen a Marvel movie since Spider-Man this summer or Endgame before that, but a lot will be left for the audience to fill in.

Nearly 60 more leaked shots reportedly show the TVA in ruins

A second wave of close to 60 screenshots, on set photos, and behind the scenes images surfaced, again too small and pixelated to verify outright, though people have run light and AI enhancements to try to strip away the CGI cover. The first roughly 12 shots clearly show Loki in his TVA suit at the TVA. The next roughly 16 show Wolverine and Maguire's Spider-Man against a blue background with scaffolding, similar to earlier leaks, before what looks like a transition back to the TVA with both characters possibly present there too.

Later shots show a broken tiled floor and more of Loki in his suit, then interior shots too cluttered to make out clearly. The last four images reportedly show the TVA completely destroyed and obliterated. To be fair, this last part may not even be a spoiler, since Marvel Studios set up a full interactive Avengers Doomsday walkthrough at D23 this past weekend that showed the TVA being destroyed.

That destruction reportedly ties back to plot leaks claiming that while Doom is tricking the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men into thinking they are his allies, he goes behind their backs to attack the TVA. The theory is that the card Loki leaves with Steve, seen in the trailer, is what lets Steve and Thor return to find the TVA already destroyed, arriving too late.

Why Doom's TVA attack could point to Loki's death and the rumored heart of Loki

I do not know if Marvel Studios is really going to kill Loki off again before he and Thor reunite, because the line "the sun will shine again on us, brother" still has a chance to be a huge setup later in the MCU. I do not think Marvel Studios wants to miss that payoff, so it may be held for Avengers Secret Wars, around the same time we would presumably learn why Thor was crying and holding Deadpool. Either way, if Doom already has enough power to walk into the TVA and take out the God of Stories, someone who can move up and down the timestream, stop time, and apparently sit at the center holding it all together, that is a serious power jump, though that footage may actually be from Loki's time working at the TVA between season one and season two, so it is still unclear whether he is tethered to the throne at that point. That tethering question is a theory for a separate discussion.

Either way, my reading is that Doom having that kind of power well before the final march on him at the end of the film means, as I put it, "He is straight up not getting beaten. It is too late. It's going to feel like Thanos with a full Infinity Gauntlet." This lines up with recent talk from Twitter scoopers, which I have seen repeatedly on my feed but have not personally researched, about something called the heart of Loki being one of the artifacts Doom takes to boost his power. Since there was not enough time to properly introduce the Beyonder or the Beyonders in this film, taking Loki's heart or power looks like a reasonable substitute for Doom's jump from Dr. Doom to a god level threat, given that Avengers Doomsday is going to keep all eyes on Doom himself.

Deadpool and Wolverine's Comic Con stunts were reportedly the announcement they are in the film

I want to correct something I saw a lot of people get wrong. When Deadpool showed up at San Diego Comic Con simply to ask if there was room for him in the film, and then pulled the stunt with Ryan Reynolds off screen threatening Hugh Jackman that it would be Deadpool and Spider-Man and everyone but Wolverine unless he asked Kevin Feige for a spot, that was the announcement that they are in Avengers Doomsday. As I said, "that is the announcement that they're in Avengers Doomsday," not just marketing for a movie they are ultimately left out of. Making it a fourth wall gag about whether he gets to be included fits exactly how Deadpool has talked about his place in the MCU since he joined it.

Given that everything we have heard about this film points to it getting more serious as it heads into its ending, with a heavy focus on the core X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four, my guess is that a disconnected appearance near the beginning may be the only spot Deadpool and Wolverine actually have in this particular movie. That said, if you are invested in that pairing, they are going to be heavily featured in Avengers Secret Wars. Marvel Studios only has to look at the box office from the Multiverse Saga to see why, since once you remove the two Spider-Man movies from that stretch, Deadpool and Wolverine did the heavy lifting for the studio's box office over the last five years.
