Jake Barber Appears to Be Eric Burlison's New Staffer After David Grusch

From what I'm hearing, the new staffer Eric Burlison has been teasing is Jake Barber, who was with SkyWatcher. I wish that weren't true, because I don't think this hire is going to go anywhere when it comes to UFO disclosure.

David Grusch was originally on Burlison's staff for a while and left over Labor Day. After that, Burlison started hinting that he had a new person lined up, and people were speculating about who it could be.

Eric Burlison hinted at a new hire who had been on Ross Coulthart

In a conversation about his office, Burlison was told that hiring David Grusch was a stroke of genius. His answer was, "Hey, wait till you see who we're going to hire next." When pressed for a name, he held back: "Well, the the ink is not dry yet, so I don't want to say until I get the ink dry."

The only clue he offered was that the person had also been on Ross Coulthart. That left several possibilities, and the claim in that conversation was that the hire would take the investigation down a whole new path.

Michael Herrera's post points to Jake Barber

Michael Herrera then went on Twitter and, in my view, basically confirmed who it is. The post I'm focusing on is one part of a longer thread, so it's out of context, but in it Herrera refers to "Jake, who's a congressional staff member." He's talking about Jake Barber. That was the whole thread.

I'm not personally a fan of Michael Herrera. Still, after doing some digging, I have an indication that the way this investigation is going to change and move forward is because Burlison hired Jake Barber. That's the information I have. I wish it weren't right, and I wish Barber were not Burlison's staffer. To be fair, I'm not sure who would be a good staffer for Burlison. It doesn't seem like a good strategy with the staffers in general.

Why I think SkyWatcher's track record undercuts Jake Barber

Jake Barber is the SkyWatcher guy, and in my opinion SkyWatcher was a total bunk mission. Barber said they could summon UFOs, that aliens would come out, that they could land a craft. So my question is simple: why didn't they do it? And if they can, why does Jake Barber need to be a staffer at all? We should already have disclosure. That's what SkyWatcher promised when it came out.

It fell apart within six months. It didn't last. People started dropping off, and the psionic assets spread out to do their own thing. In my view, they turned out to be bunk on their own too.

I once asked a SkyWatcher psionic asset in an X Space why they weren't filming any of this. He says he flies UFOs with his mind. I told him to land one and film it, because that proof could change humanity forever. His answer was, "Patrick, I just those are private moments." That is what I mean. Barber promised disclosure within a year, and within six months SkyWatcher was dissolved. Now he's supposed to help bring us disclosure as a staffer.

David Grusch couldn't deliver, so why would Barber?

David Grusch was the original staffer, the golden boy of ufology, the UFO whistleblower, and he couldn't do anything. The last things he was talking about were gorilla reptilians and beautiful Nordic beings, on Rogan. Nobody took that seriously, and it hurt his credibility quite a bit.

It's my opinion that Jake Barber is the one who showed Grusch that material. I don't know that, though. It could have been lots of people. You keep finding out there are all kinds of weirdos behind the scenes. Either way, this doesn't look good to me, and I don't think it's going anywhere. I want to be wrong. I want there to be disclosure. I just don't think it's going to come like this, or from Barber.

Burlison says disclosure is dead after the midterms

Burlison himself has said he's only got a few months and then they're pretty much done. Disclosure is dead. Those are his words, not mine. His reasoning is that Republicans will have to focus on other things because Democrats will win the midterms.

The way I read it, he's saying that unless you vote Republican, you won't get disclosure, and I don't buy that. Look at what this administration thinks of ufology. You have Trump in the Oval Office talking about a man's backside. This is the guy who is supposed to bring disclosure, and he doesn't care about aliens. It's not looking good.

The UFO community has to move from the age of stories to the age of proof

I take some of the blame myself, and so should the rest of the UFO community. We've set up a sandbox, an arena where people can jump in, say a bunch of things and never provide proof or evidence. That invites charlatans, liars and hoaxers. They figure nobody asks for evidence, so if they say they worked for this or did that, people will believe them about the craziest things: time travel, aliens, reptilians.

There's been no protocol for evidence and proof, and no pushing back. For entertainment, stories are fine. But if you want the truth, we've got to move past that. We need to move out of the age of stories and into the age of proof, because right now we're in the age of delusion.

Some people will say these are good guys. Maybe they are. I'm not saying they wouldn't stop to help somebody on the side of the road or that they don't take care of their families. But there are all kinds of weird stories about the SkyWatcher guys and others in ufology, about strange things behind the scenes and manipulating people. And I'm not alone. Many people don't like SkyWatcher, Jake Barber and everything they stood for.

Burlison is trying, but trying isn't enough

I'm not trying to blame Burlison. He's trying to do things, and that's fine. It's just not going to work. Think of it like the Super Bowl: you could put Brady in at quarterback to help win, and instead you pull a guy out of the stands who can't throw a football. Then people ask why you're mad at the coach when he's trying.

Shouldn't there be a standard above trying? Trying is the lowest hanging fruit. It's level one. We need something substantive. I'm clearly not the person who should be running this, and that's why I'm not in Congress. But the people claiming they can summon UFOs and bring disclosure never do it. Why wouldn't they have done it by now? Here's their chance.

I don't know what's going on with Jake Barber and his group. What I believe is that it has nothing to do with aliens, and I'm here for the aliens.
